February update

Can't believe I have not blogged for 2 weeks :) I do really miss blogging and charting all your developments and updates. There've been lots of photos taken, but just no time to edit and upload them. Thank God am in the last of 7 nights on call. So far, this has been the most quiet of all, and thought, best chance of 'penning' down my thoughts again.

Have been back to clinical work for over a month now, and seemed like I never left it. You have been very good and have readjusted to everything, even me being on nights, although you're more 'sticky' to me when I'm around. The 'stickiness' makes me feel good though, and reassures me that you still know who your mummy is. It's very cute that you are totally different when I'm not around. Apparently, you'll be running around, playing, doing your own thing, being independant when I'm not around but when you hear my voice, will collapse into a bundle, with this little helpless cry/whine. You will also not allow anybody else to feed you when I'm around. If only this could be recorded :) Having my parents and sisters around in the weekends made a huge difference as you always get so much attention. You have to say 'bye-bye' as they leave in the morning and I'm sure you're going to miss them very, very much. Thankfully, 'YeYe' and 'MahMah' will be coming in a month's time. What will we do without all this help and support?? Yes, we are very grateful!!!

It was also Chinese New Year and we had an early reunion dinner (photos will be uploaded later). It was very good to have the whole family here!! Can't remember when we had our last reunion dinner with the whole family. You now know how to 'gong xi, gong xi'.

Over the last 2 days, you suddenly became very 'chatty' and seem to be making lots of conversation with us. Although nothing makes sense, hopefully this is the beginning of you learning to say a few words. You do understand lots of commands and will let us know what you want :) Let's hope the proper words come soon.
